Refund policy

Returns

We hope you love your products!  However, if there is an issue, we offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Orders delivered between November 15 and December 24 may be returned through January 15.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging with all components included. You’ll also need your order number or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at info@theholidaylightdepot.com with your order number and the reason for your return. If your return is approved, we’ll send you return instructions and the address to ship it to. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Restocking Fee

Items returned because they were ordered by mistake or are no longer wanted are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. Return shipping on these returns is the customer’s responsibility; if we provide a prepaid label, its cost will be deducted from your refund.

There is no restocking fee and no return shipping cost for items that arrive defective or damaged, or if we sent the wrong item.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the item and the packaging. We’ll make it right with a replacement or a full refund.

Exchanges

If something is ordered by mistake, the fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.

Refunds

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know whether your refund was approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process and post the refund. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
